It's about quality, not about quantity

Digital terrain modelling & 3D view

Once them DTM is created; this can be used in:

• Volume calculation;
• Creating sections;
• Study of the terrain surface for design purposes;
• It has a very good application in landscaping;
• 3D view with the possibility of flying throughs;
• Reading a topographic plan/map.</>

Digital terrain modelling or DTM are used to create contours which describes the change in level on a terrain surface.

Lines are created from points with the same levels to describe the change in relief to even space in vertical plans creating the elevation of a terrain.

When creating a digital terrain model, ridges and valleys can be very easily detected on a topographic plan.
