We use two methods to collect data when creating plans : a DISTO to enable us to accurately take measurements to draw out the existing floor plans and a laser instrument.
When a measured building and topographical survey are required, we make sure these plans link to each other through fit points. The laser instrument helps to determine the position of the building on the property, the angles of the walls and levels to all floors in relation with a control point from the topographic survey.
A laser instrument is also used to observe all the features on the façade of the building, positioning of doors, windows, specification of the materials and to create the elevation plans.
